Farm Africa was proud to have reached more than one million people across eastern Africa in 2021.
From working with smallholder farmers alongside Virunga National Park in DRC to export over 400 tonnes of coffee to supporting rural communities in the Bale Eco-region in Ethiopia to sustainably manage over 400,000 hectares of forest land, our projects have made a real difference for people and the planet.
These results have been achieved in tremendously difficult circumstances. Farmers and pastoralists face a triple C crisis of disruption from Covid-19, conflict and climate extremes.
With your support, we helped farming families earn a living in spite of these challenges, as well as build their resilience to future economic and climate shocks.
You’ll discover case studies from every country we work in. From empowering female sunflower farmers in Tanzania to strengthening food security in Embu County, Kenya, our projects all work towards achieving our vision of a resilient rural Africa, where people and the environment thrive.
